I am really enjoying 5SG because of the fun games that we play like the get to know you game because we had to guess who was on the board. I`ve enjoyed are new desks which fling up . I wonder what we are doing tomorrow . BYE!
I am really excited about year 5 because it is different to year 4 since we don’t get trays and we have assembly at a different time. In year 5 I will be hoping that I will be making more progression in all of my work especially English and science. I would like to make a fresh start in year 5 and make my writing brilliant. I would like to achieve lots of good things in year 5.
I am glad to move up to year 5 because I will get to learn new, interesting topics. I will discover how to play the complicated Guitar. Furthermore, we will get to go on exciting, adventurous trips. I am also looking forward to doing competitive, energetic athletics and sports with our P.E. teacher, Mr. Hunting. I hope that we will have enough time to do Outdoor Learning and visit the ICT Suite more often to do innovative, creative things on the computers.
I am looking forward to playing football, going on school trips, playing news sports in P.E and learning new stuff. So far year 5 has gone pretty well and I think it will be good in 5SG. I am enjoyed everything we have done so far in 5SG. I hope we have more challenging work tomorrow and after that. ARYAN. R

The Tudor period is the period between 1485 and 1603 in England and Wales. It coincides with the rule of the Tudor dynasty in England whose first monarch was Henry VII (1457–1509). Most people in Henry's England lived in villages. Towns were much smaller than towns today. London was the biggest city, with about 50,000 people. Wales at this time was ruled from England. So was Ireland. Scotland had its own King. Henry died in January 1547. His son Edward (aged 9) became King Edward VI. Edward died in 1553. His sister became Queen Mary I. She was the daughter of Henry and Catherine of Aragon. Mary died in 1558. Her sister Elizabeth, daughter of Henry and Anne Boleyn, became Queen Elizabeth I. When Elizabeth died in 1603, the Tudor age came to an end.
Why was king Henry VIII famous?
The king with six wives Henry was the King of England who had six wives. But Henry did lots of other things besides marrying six times. He wanted to make England strong. Most of all, he wanted a son to be king after him. When did he live? Henry was born in 1491. In English history, the time when he and his family lived is known as the Tudor age. Tudor was Henry's family name. Henry lived at a time of changes. People had new ideas in art, science and religion. They sailed off to explore new lands. Henry died in 1547. Three of his children ruled England after him. Why do people remember Henry? Paintings of Henry VIII show a big, fierce-looking man in fine clothes. He looks scary, and many people were scared of him. If the King did not get his way, he got cross. People who made him cross risked having their heads chopped off! As a young man, Henry was handsome and clever. He was good at sport, music and dancing. He wanted to be a soldier and a famous king.
The six wives of king Henry VIII
Henry's first wife was Catherine of Aragon. She was a Spanish princess. In 1511, Catherine had a son, but the baby died. Catherine and Henry had a daughter, Mary. But no son. So in 1533, Henry decided to divorce Catherine, so he could marry someone else. Wives 2 and 3 Henry's second wife was Anne Boleyn. She had a daughter, Elizabeth. Henry turned against Anne, and she was beheaded in 1536. Next Henry married Jane Seymour. In 1537, she had a son, Edward, but she died two weeks later. Henry was very sad. Wives 4-5-6 Henry's fourth wife (1540) was Anne of Cleves, from Belgium. Henry had never seen her until she came to England for the wedding. He divorced her after six months. He soon married again. His fifth wife was Catherine Howard. She was only 19. She was beheaded in 1542. Henry's sixth wife was Catherine Parr, a widow. She looked after his children after he died.

Ramesses II The Egyptians believed they owed their good fortune to the gods, and to their kings or pharaohs who were worshipped as gods.
Kings led Egypt's army into battle against their enemies, and Ramesses II was a famous warrior; his most famous battle was at Qadesh (in Syria), when the Egyptians fought the Hittites led by King Muwatallis - a battle both sides claimed they won!
Ramesses II became king in 1279, and reigned for 67 years, dying aged over 90.
He had many wives and more than 100 children. He ordered the building of many magnificent temples and statues.
He was buried in a rock-cut tomb in the Valley of the Kings - earlier kings of Egypt were buried inside pyramids.
I am really enjoying 5SG because we have to learn more interesting things than Year 4 and we also get desks . In the beginning of the year we were all excited about flinging the desks up and down, but now we are all use to having desks and as Mrs Gale said that we would get over them ......... she was correct . I can not wait for P.E., GRAMMAR, French and music tomorrow. Last week went by so quickly !!
I loved it when we were creating Islamic art on the computers in the I.C.T. suite because the shapes we created were really awesome!! I have also really enjoyed PE too as we are currently practising on how to play football. I really enjoyed it .
I can not wait for Tuesday when we will hopefully complete our P.E. , grammar and French tasks . The most interesting for me is P.E. because we are learning about football and we really never get to go onto the field and play a proper match . I do sometimes become upset when Miss Calender sends us inside when we are too chatty. I am also interested as we take part by physically moving and are not stuck inside. Grammar is my second favourite subject as we are currently learning about modal verbs and it is really fun .!! French is also my favourite subject as we are attempting to tell what the times is in the morning, evening and afternoon. It is sometimes challenging which I like, whereas other times it is easy and I can move on to the extension which is always more detailed and has got more of a challenging challenge in it. !!
To do more maths to make every thing funer.
