THE GARDENS THE GARDENS WERE JUST HUGE AND AMAZING LOOKING TODAY.THE TREES WERE JUST LOOKING SPECTACULAR AND THE FOUNTAIN WAS STILL AS GOOD IN THE 1500 TO NOW.THE FLOWERS WERE WATERED EVERY DAY AND IT JUST LOOKED OUTSTANDING.THE MONEY HE PUT IN IT WAS JUST AMAZING TO STILL BE SEEN TODAY.
The delicate flowers at Hampton Court Palace Gardens have been planted in a way that is indescribably beautiful. The smell of the fragrant droopy wisteria filled me with joy. I could hear the sound of chirping birds gliding over my head. The green bushes were cut to perfect pyramid and spherical shapes and the colourful flowers had been intricately planted to please the eye. The mushroom shaped trees provided us shade from the heat of the intense sun on the immaculate lawn. The water fountain in the pond threw up a light spray of cool water on my body. The shady arch provided a cool breeze and let small rays of sun on me.
I saw the beautiful flowers swaying in the breeze. I could feel the smooth stones on the ground on my feet. I heard the faint, melodic sounds of birds chirping distantly. I smelt the strong aroma of roses floating in the air.
On Thursday 12th May I went to Hampton Court Palace. I was in Tabby's Group with: Maddy, Billy, Mubarak and Manan. On the bus I was playing hang man with Amari, Elson, Billy and Mubarak.
When we finally arrived in Hampton Court we entered in the reception where we had to wait forever. After a long time Miss G took us to a room it was pretty smelly. The room she took us to was a dining room where only the very, very important people like the king ate. Miss G showed us a picture of a ceiling and we had to try and find it. Prisha, Pavan and I found it first.
Elson, Amari and I were trying to summon a ghost with a dead flower. Unfortunately it didn't work. I saw a Henry shop with Tudor Pouches.
Then we had a workshop were first we were seeing how to be a Laundry Maid. After that we went back to the dining room. There we learnt about the stages of wealth/popularity. Then we went to another room where Nanditha, Amari, Elson and I stood up the rest of 5SG had to choose who would be good for the Kings Trusy person, they chose me. Soon I regretted it because the job was to clean the King's Bum when he poops. *YUCK!
After that, we had lunch in the gardens. Then we went to the tennis court. The tennis balls had changed over the years. We took a class picture and individual picture. Then it was time to go, when we went to the bus stop we had to wait 2 minutes and the bus came, and so did 5DR, they said we stole their bus which we did.
i heard horses galloping and i saw a a gold roof with paterns and a boy on the roof whenever you move its where you are i even heard walking, talking it smelt so weird, smelly kind of.
When we went inside , there were many pathways that were blocked. I felt really eager to look inside but we can't. the disgusting bit was when the Miss Harriet told us that clothes were dipped into WEE!!!!!!!!
The walls in the palace were painted really well or coated with GOLD. On of the paintings had an angels leg that pointed towards you where ever you go in the room.
The kitchens were Built to feed the Court of Henry VIII, the kitchens were designed to feed at mostly 600 people twice a day. But we can still see the largest kitchens of Tudor England at Hampton Court today, and they are often still used to prepare Tudor meals as team of cooks in the kitchens.
In the garden we heard trees rustling in the windy breeze. We even ate lunch in the garden squashed together on one bench. We saw so many different kind of flowers in the bushes. We also could hear birds chirping on the green leaves.
On Thursday 12th of May we went to Hampton Court Palace, when we got there I was with my mum, our group was Esme, Matthew, Zayn, Revanth and me. We saw lots of different statues infront of the palace because in the tudor time they said evil spirits tried to get in so they put statues around the front of the palace. Then we went to the great hall where King Henry VIII and his wives use to eat dinner with all the special people of the palace. We went to the kitchen next and there was a man actually cooking Beef on a spit!! It smelt so tasty!! Suddenly it struke lunch time and we going to have our lunch in the gardens. I could see the rusty, bright orange and green leaves dancing in the cool breeze. I could hear myriad of birds singing in the beautiful and magnifecent. There were many different flowers in bloom which made the gardens stunning.
The lovely athentic golden shining walls filled the air. Bird chirping sounds filled the air. you could smell the amazing chicken rosting on a stick. The bright coulerful flowers coverd the rich athentic bushes.Amari
I loved the trip. The bit I liked it when we were in the garden and as we looked through the window OMG!! it was so saprizing to see the bright green grass and the green trees waving at us when we were eating our lunch. BY MATTHEW5sg
When I went to Hampton Court Palace I was excited to see its massive brick walls, huge and imposing. I liked the gardens the most. From the moment I entered them a mixture of lovely smells entered my nose calling me to get closer. I saw a sea of colorful flowers: purple, pink, yellow, white all basking in the warm sunshine. The stones on the path glinted like precious jewels. It was amazing!
Inside we entered a room where the ceiling had shimmering, polished gold on most of it. The tapestries were old but beautiful, showing scenes from ancient mythology. It was easy to believe that this was a palace where kings and queens of England had lived.
Beautiful birds soared in the vivid blue sky, singing tuneful songs as wispy clouds drifted across the illustrious Hampton Court Gardens. The dry, stifling heat coiled itself around me like a python strangling its prey. Magnificent fountains rose majestically and hungry ducks bobbed on top of the glistening water. Leaves fluttered like emerald ribbons on rustling trees as neat, colourful flowers danced in the wind.
The lovely smell of the flowers at Hampton Court Palace filled the air with it's lovely smell. The ceilings were gold and had symbols decorated on it. The spit was frying the meat like a ball of fire. The paintings were so colourful and nice. The tables were neat and tidy as if they were never touched by anyone or anything.
Hampton Court Palace a old Castel of a round but a very known King of the Tudor times. The beautiful painted sealings or coverd in gold. The tapestries coverd all the walls in the rooms. The gorgeous gardens with hundreds and handreds of amazing flowers. DANIEL
I liked the Chapel, because it was very peaceful, the fireplace room (golden ceiling), it had very comfy 'Giant Pillow/sofas' & the garden because it was very beautiful & 'ginormous!!
As our groups walked into the majestic garden the angelic birds where heard singing and the lilac colored wisteria tranced among the trees and also with the heavenly breeze which smelt ever so nice. the sky was clear, not a cloud to be seen, and the warm summers air tickled as the breeze washed past. people crowded around the spritzing water fountain which refreshed the air along with the bathing Robbins and the gates to the next impossing garden awaited!
The grand gates rose high above the many people that bustled in and out of the palace. They were topped with stone animals that looked out over the city, silent sentinels of the palace. Through the paved cobblestone courtyard, the ringing of the huge clock from the Clock Court chimed out across the palace. The rooms had adorned, ornate ceilings, with drawings that looked as if they could come alive any second. Precious stones and jewels glistened in the diffused, coloured light cast upon them through the stained windows. Below the majestic, high-flying turrets, down in the kitchens, a huge fire would have roared 500 years ago, and the aroma of roasting meat and baking pies would have wafted through the castle, informing the residents that dinner was ready. In the waiting chamber, lords and ladies would sometimes even wait days for a precious opportunity to catch a glimpse of the King. But just through the doors, you would go through into King Henry VIII’s privy chambers, his private apartments. He was an extremely reclusive man, and only the most trusted would be allowed to catch a glimpse. However, through the brutal passage of time, the walls have worn and it has all changed, until they were reduced to nothing but piles of rubble, just another worn room in the labyrinthine network of passageways, corridors and chambers.
In the gardens, the fragrance of the overhanging wisteria wafted through the air, and as it mingled with the scents of the pansies and begonias, it formed a potpourri of exotic fragrances. Birds chirped in the boughs, sheltered by the emerald leaves. The green velvety expanse stretched away for as far as the eye could see, interrupted by sudden hills and dips. The topiaries and the shrubbery were all cut to perfection, positioned in perfect symmetry to the flamboyant flowerbeds that boasted of their bold colours, and the winding path that lay beyond the iron gates. Glorious fountains spurt out jets of water, the fine spray catching on my face and the gentle breeze whipping about the trimmed grass. A lone, delicate butterfly took flight and fluttered away in an intricate pattern, catching the gentle summer breeze on its wings, flying away through the gates of Hampton Court forever.
Hampton Court Palace As the mellow sound of birdsong blanketed the regal, acacia walls that faced the tranquil garden that stood before it, water trickled down from the fountains and created an endless source of light blue beneath it. Dry leaves pirouetted to the luscious grass like ballerinas gracefully following their routine. The blazing red fireball stood formally in the clear, transparent air, glaring vividly at anyone who dares to hinder its blistering rays, in the aid of its wispy courtiers beside it. Two grand, wooden gates unfastened at the sight of a deluge of crowds storming in. Rough cobblestone paving coated the ground, and glistened radiantly at the sight of the open courtyard. Shards of thin, transparent glass filled the windows gleaming at the reflection of one another. Up a fleet of stairs, lay the king’s watching chamber. Strands of pure gold filled the dome with jewels ornately encrusted on its walls. The carpet floor stretched out, coating the room with burgundy red. A perfume-like essence filled the room, bringing people hurrying towards the chamber with glee. Its strong smell was like no other with its fearful domination. Elaborate tapestries majestically covered the room with its intricateness. A solemn story unfolded with its vivid imaginary with every picture. A story for some, but others relate it as elegant illustrations.
