How does Google search actually work?

Today we have been learning about how search engines sort and rank their pages.

What have you found out?

    Why some websites are at the top of the page because the website has paid Google to be on the top of the page.
    After the top websites there is an image box below that are the websites that haven't paid Google to be at the top.
    The first one under the image box is the most used website that hasn't paid Google.

    some people pay google to put there website on the top of the page. some people are lazy and click the website that is on the top of your search page and when you clickonthem the person who made the website gets money.
