  1. The Angle, Saxon, and Jute are known as the Anglo-Saxons are known for being a large tribe but ruled by two great warriors. They were farmers, hunters and warriors who had a lot other little talents like making clothing.
In those, Britain wasn't like how it looks now, it was covered with thick woodland trees and wildlife that we might not see today. Historians think that the Anglo-Saxons came to Britain for its wood and also for the rich soil for agriculture.

I think that Anglo–Saxons influenced Britain positively because they improved the environment, living culture and language.

  2. I think that the Anglo Saxons had the right to come because they drove out the rotten Romans but I do not think that the Vikings should have the right to live in Britain because the Anglo Saxons were amazing rulers but in the end the Vikings took Britain and became famous.

  4. Anglo-Saxons
The Anglo-Saxons are people who invaded Britain after 410 AD. They came to Britain by sailing in small boats across the North Sea. Historians are not sure why Anglo-Saxons came to Britain. Some historians believe that the Saxons came because their lands were often flooded. So they migrated to Britain and settled. They came from North Germany, Denmark and Northern Holland. Angles are people from Southern Denmark and Saxons are from German Dutch.

The Anglo-Saxons had both positive and negative influence on Britain. The positive influence is that they developed the churches and monasteries. They were predominantly farming community. The Anglo-Saxons had negative influence as they didn't look after the Roman buildings which got ruined because they were not aware of architecture.

  5. Some Anglo Saxons came to Britain to fight, but others came peacefully,to find land to farm. The Anglo Saxons knew Britain was a rich land.Their own lands often flooded, making it difficult to grow enough food. The Anglo Saxons made a positive influence because they named lots of parts in Britain. The Anglo Saxons made a negative influence because when they came the Vikings wanted to invade Britain and then the Normans which turned everything in to a big fight it was like a massive war.The Vikings came from three countries of Scandinavia:Denmark,Norway and Sweden. The name Viking comes from a language called Old Norse and means a pirate raid. The Vikings worshipped many gods. The old stories they told about gods, giants and monsters are known as Norse myths. In one story Thor, the god of thunder, tries to prove his strength to the Giant King by attempting to lift a giant cat.But he could only lift one of its paws!Odin was the ruler of gods, and the god of magic, poetry and war.Loki the mischievous trickster god caused the death of Balder.A dead person was buried or cremated (burned)with some of their belongings,to take into the next world. Some Viking chiefs were given ship-burials,with treasure, weapons, and favourite dogs and horses buried with them.Vikings believed that warriors killed in battle went to Valhalla,a great hall were dead heroes feasted at long tables.Odin sent his warrior-madiens,the Valkyries, riding through the skies to bring dead warriors to Valhalla.Viking stories told how people lived in Midgard or Middle Earth, along with giant, elves and dwarfs. The gods and goddesses lived in a sky world called Asgard.Linking Midgard with Asgard was a rainbow bridge. The Vikings told many tales of monsters, such as trolls, dragons, sea serpents and the fierce wolf Fenrir.

The Anglo Saxons weren't the only ones trying to invade Britain. After the collapse of the Roman Empire in the west, many Germanic people from the from the former empire began to migrate west wards and the UK is mostly targeted to be invaded. Anglo Saxons are germanic tribes who migrated to the island. There were some indigenous british groups who adopted some aspects of Anglo Saxon culture and language. A bad thing about the Anglo Saxons was that they took over peoples farmland. They didn't deserve food that the people had grown. The Anglo Saxons made new laws that the british were to do as they were told. They came to this country to find good farm land.

  7. The Anglo, Saxons, and the Jute are know as the Anglo-Saxons. The Angle and the Saxon tribes were the largest of the three attacking tribes so we now them as the Anglo Saxons. They shared the same language but each ruled by different strong warriors. The Anglo Saxons were warriors and came from north western Europe. They began to invade Britain when the Romans were fleeing from Britain. the Anglo Saxons were armed with swords and spears and round shields. They loved fighting and were very fierce sometimes I think they had fighting competition's. There skills included hunting, farming, clothing production and leather working.

Why did the Anglo Saxons come to Britain?

Anglo-Saxons came to Britain because Some the Saxon warriors were invited to come. Another reason for coming may have been because their land often flooded and it was difficult to grow crops, so they were looking for new places to settle down and farm.
